About Me

I was born and raised in the Albany, New York suburbs. My parents were from Taiwan; my grandparents from China - making me the second generation of my family that grew up in a different country than their parents did.

My parents and grandparents left their home countries for an education and then stayed in their new countries to build their families. I first came to Brooklyn to build a career, and now I am staying to build a Democratic Party that represents families like mine who were looking for better opportunities.

I became an organizer in my neighborhood after witnessing how little participation Democrats had in Brooklyn after the 2016 election.

In Brooklyn, insider politics has stifled engagement.

We reform this by building the largest progressive coalition of independent voters to push for reform inside the party!

As District Leader, I will push the leadership of the party actively support all Democratic candidates and do the organizing work to build the party our voters in the district deserve, a party that connects all communities in Brooklyn together.
